This place was a disappointment. It was on my cousin's to-do list for a while so finally we were in the area and got the... opportunity and we were let down. Horrible service also. Formerly "Tavern on the Square", this place is under new management. They have totally remodeled the place opening up the floor... space on the first floor. They removed the old bar and installed a more contemporary environment, including 4 huge flat screensthat give it a modern sports pub feel. The menu is incredible! I recommend the brisket! Oh, and if you're going to miss thatmassive antique bar, don't worry! They remodeled the upstairs too and put it in with pool tables and darts. The new vibe isdefinitely worth a trip to Boonville to see. But come early they can fill to capacity quick, especially on nights with livemusic. Read more
Excellent food. The build your own double burger with brisket was the star of the show.
The layout is open with a second floor with pool tables, darts, and music, 2 open bars, the food is decent and the drinks are... fairly priced, the staff is friendly and the cleanliness is good. Read more
We went for lunch on a Friday! I got the mean tavern ghost burger and she got a the build your own burger (BYOB) both were... great!
