For the price you pay you expect high quality! I felt I didn't get that experience in taste or at the hibachi grill. Soup tasted... like Campbell's chicken broth, the veggies and filet were alright, but almost artificial tasting. Lastly, my view of the grillwas spoiled by the huge bottles in the way. I may be spoiled by my Hibachi Steakhouse in my hometown so take with a grain ofsalt. Read more

Took my daughters for a birthday dinner. The waiter was amazing! We had several different sushi rolls. I will say, for the price... I expected better quality and presentation. The rolls were quite messy, the rice was hanging off, the rolls were loose and verysoft. The tuna in the spicy tuna roll wasn't visible to be honest. I spent 85 dollars including a ten dollar tip for ten items.I wish I could give 5 stars but I can't. Not for the food. Our waiter, again, was amazing! Read more

Wow.... be prepared to wait, but also be prepared to take home great food. IF YOU ONLY READ THIS ONE THING - Get a split plate.... One meal will feed 2. Also you can request just onions or just broccoli. Rice is a little different than used to (no egg orsesame seed used in). I got a DragonRoll and it was great. Great servers also. Husband got the jumbo shrimp and I got Sushi. His shrimp was excellent and my sushi was outstanding. I bought two tuna rolls and... the California roll. Both were perfect temperature. My only complaint is our waitress hardly checked on us. We were her onlytable and only guests at that table so that shouldn?t have been the case. Otherwise, we love Makotos! Read more

I?ll start of by saying, we will not be back to this restaurant. First, the fried was was white rice and soy sauce. Second, the... vegetables?.carrots!!! Not just carrots, but either canned or pre cooked carrots that they just threw on the grilled and wewatched the cook add?you guessed it soy sauce. The combos were ok, yet, the eight of us sitting all said the samething?.extremely salty from the soy sauce. We were not satisfied with our meals. We will not be returning to this restaurant. Arrived around 8:30, so we missed the dinner crowd and were seated immediately. Our server was great (said his name was Leroy... Brown). We had a great time with our tablemates. The food was good and the experience was fun. You always receive more than yourfair share in portion size! Read more
