This restaurant truly changed my life. The waiter, Isaac, took me under his wing as soon as I entered. He gave me a drink and... told me to follow him into his unmarked white van. The drink was so good, I quickly fell asleep. When I woke up, Isaac was niceenough to save me from the ropes I was tied up with. We then eloped and lived happily ever after. Read more

Absolutely amazing!!!! We ordered 5 different dishes and shared around the table and literally everything tasted amazing. Best... potato salad we've ever had. .. all of the meats had amazing flavors and was perfectly cooked and moist - even the turkey, whichusually is dry at most restaurants. I'm originally from Texas and grew up eating world-class bbq from multiple different pitmasters in Texas and all through the South. This IS THE BEST bbq I've had outside of Texas! Hell- probably in Texas too. Highlyrecommend! We'll definitely make the trek back up here for Jimmy's BBQ. Read more

Not sure how this has an average of 4.5 stars. One of the worst restaurants I?ve ever dined at. The menu is really small & they... were out of multiple items. The bathroom was disgusting. Food was barely edible. Wait staff never came to check on us. Thecredit card machine was broke so cash only. Barf. Read more

Review from one visit... brisket sandwich on onion roll, Texas toast, baked beans and an Arnold Palmer. (Including a 21-22% tip,... total was $15 even: Great Buy!) From this one meal the food was spectacular, the service was Average++. This might be a hiddengem. I can't wait to take my friends back! Read more

My son and I got the Iowa twister the service was not bad the baked bean were average and hot but the rest of the food was not... and the quality was subpar. The brisket and pork loin needed seasoning the ham and turkey were glorified lunch meat, the onlything that saved it was the barbecue sauce. The cook needs to learn some manners and learn how to talk to his waitresses. Thefirst item we're going to order was not available it would be great if the cook would tell the waitresses so they know and don'thave to go back to the kitchen and ask. At this point I would not recommend it. Read more

I was born in Texas and grew up eating Barbecue my entire life. I ordered some sliced Brisket with the mild sauce. The meat... melted in my mouth and the sauce was the best I've ever had! I would love the sauce recipe! Thank you Jimmy's Barbecue Pit! ?? Read more

Saw the reviews wanted to try it out. I bought a pound of brisket and a whole slab of what was supposed to be loin back... ribs. Very disappointed, brisket was dry with no seasoning and the ribs are definitely not loin back, they were huge bones, theyare definitely spare ribs. No seasoning on the ribs and the ribs are dry... Having smoked many ribs over the years I've neverhad that kind of appearance on the outside, maybe held under heat lamp ? Read more
