PROS: Monica was an exceptional server. She was friendly, competent, kept the meal flowing at an appropriate pace. My short... ribs were good. We liked that Monica gave us the option to switch out starches which was not obvious on the menu. The winelist was good and our selection was very good. CONS: The NY strip steak was cooked appropriately [medium rare] but the meat wasas tough as I've ever eaten. Monica insisted we send it back but it came back no better, just cooked a little more which itdidn't need. This is a fine restaurant but until they buy a better cut of steak I'd go to any other entre but that one. Read more
This is one of our absolute favorite spots in the area. It's wonderful for date nights and they have a nice little outdoor area... as well. The food is fantastic and they can easily (and carefully) accommodate my gluten free requests. Highly recommend thefrench onion soup - it's 10/10 and can be made gluten free. We enjoyed our dining experience very much. The food was well prepared. My snapper was fresh and perfectly cooked, my request... for ?light blackening? met. My dining companions had the crab stuffed cod and enjoyed it. I couldn?t resist the creme brûléeand it was excellent too. Our server was DJ and he knows his business. He was attentive but there was no rushing to clearplates while some were still eating, which I really appreciate. It is a service ambiance getting harder to find in our ?fastcasual? world. The general ambiance of the dining room is good too. It?s a small room but not over crowded. Perhaps a bit heavyon the cork decor but they do have an excellent wine list too, and reasonably priced. The first thing you notice is the exquisite decor. From the moment we walked in, the service was at the highest level. Our... server, Marilyn, was helpful and knowledgeable. We were a party of 10. Everyone's Food was excellent. We all had separate checks and waitress handled it perfectly.
