They were charging us a 20% tip included in the total. A tip should be optional and not mandatory by restaurant.

I came here with my boyfriend to eat for lunch, at first it was ok we got seated and ordered our drinks and food, the attention... was very low but what took us over the top was the fact that we paid our bill and THE NEXT MORNING my boyfriend got a text thatsaid that the amount we paid got updated from $80 to $95 ????? The waiter ended up adding $15 tip without our authorization.That is most definitely rude and credit card fraud. Do not come here unless u want to waste ur money. Being off season and late (830, late for the area) We didn't lack in service or quality. our server, Alexandra, i think that was... her name sorry girl, beautiful girl with a great personality from Guatemala kept us entertained + the sake flowing.... The foodwas fresh and excellent portions. My mom was visiting from out of town & not always easy to please (she is an excellent homecook) and she was very happy. I know we will be back. Almost a five-star experience! The food was incredible and the sushi were works of art alongside their fresh and perfectly mixed... flavors in the signature rolls. Soup, salad and appetizers were all great companions to the meals and the fried rice for our kidwas straight-up delicious. Each Japanese Dish had some element of Thai and it made for a wholely unique dining experience thatworked in every way. Service was incredibly slow and we were seemingly forgotten for upwards of 45 minutes...it didn't ruin theoverall impression the food succeeded in making, but it made for an unnecessarily long night! This place is next to our gym. Decided to try it for lunch and had their pollo saltado and their chicken rice soup(3rd... picture). Food was superb. Went back today with my wife and I had the crispy kiss me duck(garlic sauce) and she had thehurricane roll. Everything was delicious and plentiful. We also ordered the thai donuts which come with condensed milk as adipping sauce. Was light, fluffy, and yummy but didnt get a picture bc we ate them in a hurry. Worth a shot Read more

This was a fun place to eat with great selections and fair prices overall. We had a good variety of food that we ordered and... everything that came out was tasty. The service was our only lacking point and the reason for a 4 star rating instead of 5. Our server was less than attentive and sat in the back on his phone most of the time. He left our sushi order sitting at thesushi bar and we had to remind him that it was there, for 15-20 minutes at that point. Aside from that, it is a clean locationinside and out, and a safe location. I do recommend it and will return myself in the future. Read more
