Amazing ambience and delicious food. The weather was perfect when we arrived and the sunset was colouring the room. Make sure... you book in advance as it gets busy, especially after 5pm. Our waitress seated us quickly, but I did not appreciate how shewelcomed us. When we first stepped in the restaurant, she assumed right away that we did not have a reservation and barked aremark "eh boy, dont know if I can sit these two" before even asking us if we have reserved (which we obviously did). We were acouple in our early 30s. So maybe because we looked like young travelers, she thought we were out of place. Anyhow, my hats goesoff to the chef for delivering amazingly good food. Great location with an amazing view on the sea. We were visited the Gaspésie region and we had this place on our list. You... should always reserve your place since it?s always full. The staff is friendly and helpful! The food is just amazing and youwouldn?t be disappointed since it?s fresh and homemade. Great job! Read more

Absolutely delicious food. The portions aren't too huge but perfectly sufficient! We took the pasta of the day (salmon linguine)... and the cod, both were great. Highly recommend. Read more

Nice place. My plate (filet de morue) was really tasteless and the waitresses seemed in a hurry. The ambiance was good and my... partner's plate was OK. We'll try a different restaurant our next time in Bonaventure. Read more

Place is friendly. Order wasn't complete and service is very long although the restaurant was less than half full. We went for... breakfast, the food was OK but the size of the plates did not match the price. Small portions. 1 inch cube of ham, 6 hashbrowns, 4 grapes and a tiny slice of melon for 14$? From it's charming setting, to it's authentically local ingredients; Café Acadienoffers deliciously fresh and flavourful plates. Their dish presentations are exquisitely crafted, bursting with vibrant colors.A culinary experience worth the time and the price. We drove through Bonaventure quickly on our return trip through Gaspésie. This place was AMAZING. I was very tempted to stay... the night JUST so that I could eat supper here! The food was excellent! But... It is indeed the end of the season. The restaurant only opens from 5pm to 9pm. Got a reservation... for 7:30pm ... and got our food at 9pm ! The food was DELICIOUS ! But was it worth the wait ? (...) The chef did come see usafter the plates were served and apologized. We appreciated that. Definitely need to stop by this restaurant for the food ! Read more
