Weeeeeee. Just go. Want an adventure in the best subs? Year after year, I try new & usual sub shops, subs at WaWa, subs at deli... or stores and one 1 soars to the blue sky like a sub on golden chariot. Oh yes indeed! Penn Station East Coast subs. You may bethinking, name a tad droll so subs might be? The meat is slapped on grill top & stacked in roll. The only thing that quakes inthis sub castle is the need for fresh shredded lettuce & fresh tomatoes. The only chance of this chariot hitting a stone ontakeoff is the price has risen to $7 for a small 5 inch sub. I measured it. Yes I did???????????? Even if it was 6 inch, $7.50+is too much for a small Italian sub on plain white sub rolls. Subway with fresh breads became my go to, when Penn Station hadaging shredded lettuce, tomatoes a bit shy of good, so so one choice white rolls & $7 for basic small sub. Love the staff, taters & grilled meat, but that's 2 gallons of fuel in a $7.50 paper wrapper that's gone in 10 minutes???????????????????? Read more

Man this place is the place to be for a good sub!!! It has become one of my favorite spots. They're a little on the pricey side... but you get your money worth. The chocolate chip cookie is one the best I've ever tasted in my life. Go and see for yourself. Read more

Went in for the first time this afternoon after finding out the W. broad location was closed at 1pm. If not for the the valpack... coupon, I doubt I would bother heading to the other side of town If I wasn't already driving past another location. Staff greetsyou as you walk in, staff was courteous, restaurant was clean and food was prepared reasonably quickly and brought to my table.I got a small turkey bacon ranch sub, fries and a soft drink. Prices are higher than other comparable sub shops, but notridiculous. The food is good, but not great. Fresh cut fries-whole potatoes on display-seemed more gimicky than anything, blandand unseasoned, but good enough with a bit of salt and pepper. Sandwich was pretty good, toasted bun, fresh lettuce and tomato.Staff smiled again and asked me to come back again soon. TLDR: Decent food, Decent prices, reasonable wait times, friendlystaff. This use to be one of my favorite sub places in Richmond but the past two times I?ve been the food has been very bland and dry. ... Staff has always been pleasant but when you pay $15 for a sub, fries and a drink you expect better. The chicken parmesan shoulddefinitely have more marinara than this? Read more
