My first time to visit this place and I was not disappointed. The cashier Porcha was very friendly and helped me decide! Very... family oriented an the retro look was amazing. Last day for chicago trip, ordered regular sweet and spicy beef sandwich, it was good side for me but pricy for 6 inches... sandwich, but they do give you a lot of beef. Bread got soaky, wish they put more the pickles and chilies. Read more
This restaurant has multiple of items to satisfy every crave. Ribs,hot dogs,burgers ,fries, shakes,etc. Pricey but the quality... of the food is amazing. It is definitely a staple in Chicago! Read more
My fav place! Chili dog all day long so good! Quick fast and great tasting!! Can never go wrong
It is a well-decorated restaurant with good food. The servings for fries and milk shake are good, but hot dogs were a bit... insufficient. Moreover, we decided to order two extra milkshakes at the place, but it took them ~15-20 mins to get twomilkshakes done. There were not a lot of customers at the time, but some employees did not seem to be preparing food forcustomers. Therefore, I think ordering online is the optimal method. So, I know I know - Chicago might be over Portillo?s but I have no idea why. I was told I had to experience it, and I am so... glad I did what I was told. I had the hot beef ?Portillo?s way? with cheese sauce. *warning* that was a 15 napkin sandwich,but it was AMAZING!!! Life changing. Excellent portillos location. Convenient spot right on boughton road in Bolingbrook close to tons of shopping and recreation.... All the portillos favorites like Chicago dogs, Italian beef, sausage, burgers, plus fries, cheese, shakes, cake. Fast serviceindoors and drive through. Plenty of parking. Upbeat 50s decor with tons of cool advertising signs and local memorabilia. Wouldcertainly recommend this Portillos location for a taste of that Chicago classic! Read more
