We stopped here on our way home from a weekend trip to the mountains. I loved the laidback, Sunday, front porch eating we... enjoyed here. The place was not busy, so we did not have to wait and we ordered from their Sunday specials menu and so the foodcame out right after the fried green tomato appetizer we ordered. The sides were tasty, and with two vegetarian parents we trieda wide range. My dad loved the creamed potatoes but was not impressed with the sweet tea, even though that's the name sake ofthe cafe. The pineapple casserole was basically a dessert, so we had a filling meal. Also, the biscuits that came out werereally good! Nice atmosphere. You can sit inside or on the porch. Waitress was nice. Restaurant sits about a block off the main hwy. (19/41)... but there's a large sign directing you to it. Read more
Enjoyed sitting on the porch for lunch. Wait staff has the southern charm. Food reminded me of my Grandmas cooking.
