Reviews for Taco Time in Boise, ID
We found a chair that was barely used and actually looked new! It was a recliner with a remote control which not only reclines... but brings you to a standing position. It is perfect for my mother in law who recently had a stroke. It was a fantastic price aswell! These chairs go for hundreds of dollars used and o paid less than $100. The lady was very nice today. It is rare to findthis type of customer service these days. I also love the 7 day return policy! Read more
The menu is simple, the smoothies are delicious, the prices very reasonable. I can be satisfied, have a full meal with leftovers... for about $20. I try to get here once or twice a month. Read more
Sweet pork Burritos & Pineapple smoothies will make me crave this place, as long as they are on the menu. But even if that isn't... your flavor there is plenty of good food to choose from. Quality fast food consistency that matters to me. Thanks for thecraveable bites. Read more
Haven't been to a Taco Time in Idaho before, so I thought I would try this one. The dining area was clean as was the outdoor... dining. Overall it looked like a nice establishment to eat at. I ordered 2 burritos and mexi-fries, also known astater-tots. Watching the guys put together the food, I noticed that they were wearing thick blue rubber gloves, and I thoughtto myself "Oh good, they are practicing sanitary food handling!" Nope. The person who opened the drawers, and touched themicrowave door, and touched all sorts of other surfaces that may or may not be clean, reached into the bin of shredded lettuceand cheese to grab some to spread across my burritos. GROSS! Then, I saw him quickly gather up our burritos, and throw theminto a microwave. When he brought me my food, I asked him "Why the microwave?" and he gave me some ages-old made-up answer that"they do that to soften the tortilla". Anyone who has made a burrito before knows you do this BEFORE the burrito is made, notafter. After getting home a mere 5 minutes later, I bit into my burrito and the meat was cold, which basically shows me thatthe meat they keep in their bins to serve to their customers is also cold, and the microwave trick usually fools people intothinking their food was fresh. Guess what? My tater tots were also cold. First and last time I will go there. It may be fast, but it certainly isn't cleanly or fresh. Read more
A little pricy for what you get, but the crisp bean burrito ???? is great. The other burritos are better than taco bell, but not... in a whole different category. Meal deals will run you about $10 for an entree tots and a soda. It is fun occasionally, but nota destination food location. Read more
The crisp meats are always so good! I like to dip them in ranch and use their green salsa packets that they have. The only... downside is the ranch now cost money and they didn't tell me that. I spent 35 dollars here and to be charged two dollars extrawithout knowing kind of put a bad taste in my mouth. The customer service at this location could use some help. When I arrivedto the window I had exact change and he said since I'm paying cash I have to wait (wouldn't hand me the food either) Read more
We got 4 crisp bean burritos for $5.55+tax. They are grubbin', love the fresh pinto beans but need a touch of salt to bring... out the flavor. But overall, pretty tasty vittles... Read more
This was total garbage! The only reason it gets one star is because it won't let me give less! The taco burger was a puking... mess, not only did it taste off , I almost broke my tooth because there was approx 3 " piece of lettuce core in it! The mexifries were hard and cold. BUT to have that core of lettuce in the sandwich is NASTY. I've been going there for over 10 year'sdue to its location but will NEVER go back. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NO ONE TO EAT AT THIS LOCATION...
