Reviews for Red Lobster in Boise, ID
In haven't been to a Red Lobster in years so it was a nice switch up. The cocktails were great, the service was good and my... plate was pretty darn good too!!! My husbands crab was way over cooked, and the calamari tasted extra rubbery.... But other thanthat it was great! Read more
I only end up in these types of chains when I’m forced to by a group. I consider this a “fake family restaurant,” as in... somewhere that is trying to pretend to be authentic. Authenticity is something I seek out when choosing where to eat. Chainslike this where a lot of things come out of a microwave are at the bottom of my list. That being said, I had an okay experiencehere. The staff were all great. Our server actually gave a lot of personalized recommendations. The endless old bay rolls weredefinitely a win as well. As I wasn’t interested in spending a considerable amount on mediocre seafood, I got a few smallcheap items. I tried the lobster pizza and the shrimp scampi. The pizza was edible but not good, seemed like the same quality ofa cheap frozen pizza. The shrimp was fine. Overall, exactly how I thought it would be. At least I left without wasting moremoney. They are still suffering from understanding like everybody else, but the the service was still excellent in the post COVID Era. ... Our waiter was Devin was attentive and courteous. We were two parties of two (4). He kept our orders straight and didn't mindrunning two separate checks. The restaurant was cool inside with wooden tables and dark stained wood trim throughout. Therewere large-screen, hi-def TVs in the available pub-bar for watching sports programming. Jacquee had fish and chips. The fishwas just one piece but it was a huge filet, about 8 inches long. She said it was very good, although I did notice on part of the portion, the fried batter was a bit thick and not quite completely cooked (it was still a little doughy) All in all, wewere pleased with out experience and will return in the future. The salad and dressing/sauces were delicious. I've not had their chicken strips or fries before but both were amazing! 10/10... would get them again. I had two servers, Mary and Charlie, and both were very attentive but not coming over too much, and madethe dining experience wonderful Read more
First timer here and it was *fantastic*. Despite the notice on the door that they are looking for more staff, the service and... timing were impeccable. Our server, Charlie, was phenomenal; very attentive, lively, and went above and beyond. The food waswell cooked and delicious. Being seafood, plan on spending ~$20-30/plate. One of the hosts even took one of the lobsters out ofthe tank to show the kids. Definitely enjoyed the experience! Read more
Whoo weee! I've never been to Red Lobster before but it was really delicious! We got two different meals one with crab legs and... the other with fish. Both were flavored good. Her lobster looked like it had some seasoning on it. I found myself dipping intothe shrimp scampi butter to enhance the flavor. The rice was sitting on kinda the same thing I believe it was very good. Iordered two drinks, a regular margarita with was about the same as you would expect. The other drink I told him to bring me onebut I can't remember the name of it but it was one of the best drinks I've had at a restaurant. Something with raspberries. Ifyou are on the fence about trying or haven't been to, I would definitely recommend going. The total price came out to be about130 to 140 with tip. Read more
