If you haven't been to Paddles Up Poke yet - I'm sorry you're living under a rock. Just kidding! But seriously, you need to... swing by and treat yourself. I've been here on two different occasions while visiting and it has quickly become a staple ofevery trip to Boise. It's hard to find quality fish in a landlocked state & Paddles Up has got it right. My boyfriend's go-tomenu option is the Bogus Bowl. I always opt to build my own bowl - it usually involves the Blue Rice & Traditional Poke with abunch of other fun stuff mixed in. This time around, I also had salmon, ginger, kim chee, edamame, avocado, green onions & awasabi drizzle. Is it a little more expensive than your average build and go food spot? At about $15-$17 per person, I'd sayprobably. Although, in today's economy, you can end up spending way more than that at a fast food joint. And Paddles Up is soworth it. Just take my word for it and thank me later. Read more

Food tastes fresh, friendly fast service, restaurant is clean. Been here several times and the food and service have been... consistently good. If you're new to poke the options can be overwhelming. On my first visit I asked an employee for arecommendation for a newbie and it was great. Since then I've tried most of the menu items and I've figured out what works forme and what doesn't. The downtown Nampa location is our most frequented but I can also recommend the downtown Boise locationtoo. Outdoor seating provides good people watching. Read more

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Thank you for hooking me up the the surprise bowl and making my wife an incredible bowl as well. The service... was absolutely awesome and the restaurant was very nice and clean. They have a nice selection of beer and other drinks. Veryreasonably priced as well. We will 100% be back! Thank you! Read more

I would just like to start off saying I used to absolutely love Paddles Up Poke. I have eaten there too many times to count? but... not anymore. Paddles up before the pandemic and after are worlds apart different. Prices went up, quality and amount of fishwent down, like way down. I get that inflation happened but you can?t charge more and give less worse quality fish. My last mealhere will absolutely be my last. This was my fourth strike, I gave it a fourth because the first three were right after thepandemic and I wanted so badly for it to be good again, much to my dismay it was not. There was a total 6 pieces of salmon and 5pieces of tuna total and what?s up with the inability to customize it now ordering online? This place used to be my favorite butif you?re looking for good poke stay far away. Read more
