Smoked prime rib.. so good. Great service and loved the 3 course options. Dessert was pretty good, too. The ambience was nice... and we had space too enjoy our time instead of being packed in. Definitely coming here, again! Read more

Really nice service, and excellent food. Would highly recommend. We tried the Reuben, the Niçoise Salad, and the Prime Rib. The... sweet potato fries were also fantastic! Sometimes parking can be a hassle in downtown Boise, but the location of the OwyheeTavern, was very good for parking. Read more

AMAZING Food!!! Great staff and good drinks! Any place that uses Buffalo Trace as their standard bourbon for Old Fashioned's is... alright with me. If you get the nachos fasten your seat belt. It's the largest nacho tower of all-time. And the Ribeye!!!Absolutely phenomenal!! Anytime I'm back in town this will be a must visit spot for me. Read more

I gave my husband 2 choices to try somewhere new for date night. We he definitely picked the right one! Phenomenal food,... service, & atmosphere! They had a great dinner for 2 deal when we went & it was some if the best food u have had in Idaho! Andthe cocktails were great too, weren't gonna order drinks but their dinner deal was so good we splurged a bit! Definitely willreturn! Recommend for date night 1000%, still kid friendly but definitely felt more like a romantic setting ???? Read more

We were able to call and make reservations which is a plus, they got us in within a short time frame. Great table, great... server. The clams appetizer was a huge hit, and warm bread and butter as well. 3 of the party had prime rib sandwich andpretty good review. I had the steak Diane in the $35 combo it was a bit tangy but good. Came with mash and veggies. 5thperson had the Ahi Poke salad with pretty good reviews. The dessert menu was yawn so the waitress let us order another browniedessert that comes with the $35 3 course meal. It was delish, could have used some more whip cream, had like three dots of it. The salmon soup was good. The wedge side salad with walnuts good. Read more

Amazing food and the service was just as good. Our server Gerry was very attentive and friendly and was assisted by Talia who... was just a nice. I had the rainbow trout which was on special but also on the regular menu and it was outstanding! I tried allthree of the desserts (shown in pics) and the cheesecake was the by far the best in my opinion very rich but creamy! They have alarge selection of wine and other drink options and will definitely go back when I return to Boise! Highly recommended! Read more

First let me start with our Awesome, observant, hospitable, personable, accommodating, helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and... humorous waitresses Jeri. The food was Delicious!! The wedge salad was fresh and crisp. The ribeye was tender and juicy. Thedesserts were decent. Only downside was the hostess. When we walked in we were not greeted well. Hostess did not even ask if wehad reservations, she just said “sit anywhere down there.” Read more

First time, will not be the last. We went for dinner on Christmas Eve through and Open Table reservation, but a credit card was... not required to hold a table. We were impressed with their dining room, menu, service and prices; all good. This place is levelsabove & beyond Richard's, which I had previously reviewed on Thanksgiving. (check it out for a laugh) Starting with the team ofhostesses that greeted us with their warm & friendly personality, instantly setting the tone for a wonderful evening. Diningroom is both classy and relaxed, i.e. comfortable, inviting and romantic. Our server for the evening was Jerri, and I believethat we lucked out with this relaxed, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable server. We enjoyed her jaunty Santa's cap andperfected timing for all of our needs. The rest of the staff were seamless, fluid, clean and professional. We never say amanager walking around, but none was needed, but a friendly holiday greeting would not have been unwelcomed. We opted for theaffordable set 3-course menu and were not disappointed. First came the house baked bread and house made butter. Warm and myfavorite way to start a meal. We began with the field greens salad and wedge salad, both as beautifully presented as they weredelicious and fresh. The house made dressings were outstanding! Next came the perfectly cooked entrees that were a feast for theeyes as well as the palate. Check out our attached photos. My husband had the trout with cherries, asparagus-rice pilaf and thatevening's vegetables. Fish was tender and moist, pilaf was flavorful, but lacking in an abundance of asparagus, which was a milddisappointment. The green beans, roasted peppers and onions were average, but not a stand-out star as the vegetable of thenight. I had the sirloin with crisp onion rings, blue-cheese peppercorn sauce, loaded Idaho baked potato and the aforementionedvegetables. Steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, but still a bit tough to cut through, however I did d Read more
