I'm a simple man that loves General Tso's Chicken. Hands down, North End has the best General Tso's Chicken in town. Super... flavorful and generous quantity. The fried rice is also great. Orders arrive quickly. Don't let the appearance of thebuilding scare you away, because there is something magical happening in the kitchen at this place. Read more

Got a meal here. Don't know how to post picture. Noticed when I bit into my fried shrimp that it had not been cleaned. So I put... it in the bag and pulled out another piece and was correct. How do you not clean your shrimp. The chicken was old and ricetasteless. First Chinese food since moving back home 6 months ago. I threw my whole meal away. Read more

It's a complete dumpster, dirty, nasty inside and out, terrible food and chicken cashew tasted awful, zero flavor or seasoning.... Chow Mein was even worse and tasted like it was washed with dish soap. Food was loaded with salt, we have been drinking largeamount of water for 6 hours after we had their food. Female owner behind the counter was rude, obnoxious and interrupted usafter each party placed an order and told us how much we owed without waiting for my kids to order food ( As if she did not wantmore business ). Those who rate this place more than one star must be sad and desperate Boise residents who do not know whateven half decent chinese food tastes like! This place makes Panda Express look like a fancy restaurant . Maybe try decentchinese food next time you go to Los Angeles so you can see the difference for yourself. Read more

We ordered take out and picked it up in the drive-thru from North End Chinese. Despite what their website reads, the only way... you can dine at this time is via delivery or takeout. The food was really good! I highly enjoyed the shrimp fried rice and thewontons. I’m not fully certain about the appetizer sample, which I ordered as well. It was not my favorite menu item. Overall,I would say the restaurant is affordable, with quick service, the process was very straightforward and the food was great! Read more

This is one of my most disappointing experiences with food in years. I ordered 3 meals and none of them had any flavor, the... mandarin chicken was in sauce and was soggy and watery, my shrimp didn't have the Mud vein cleaned so they were wretched, andthe rice and chow mein had no Flavor other than salt. We ordered from here last night. We got beef fried rice, egg rolls, spicy mandarin chicken, and sweet & sour chicken with fried... rice. The chicken in both chicken dishes tasted really weird. We couldn’t even finish it. The pork fried rice was whiterice. How can you say it’s pork fried rice when it’s not even made right. The egg rolls tasted like they came out of apackage you get from the dollar store. And the beef fried rice was the same as the pork fried rice. Will never order from hereagain. Haven’t been able to find a good Chinese places since I moved to Boise. Makes me really sad. Read more

If I could I would give 0 stars. I don't know what's going on with this place but out of around 40$ worth of food we ate none of... it due to how gross and old it looked. Looking at more recent reviews about food poisonings I am glad we didn't. The BBQ porkcame cold as ice -- meaning it was in a refrigerator for who knows how long before being delivered. The fried rice was justwhite rice with mixed frozen veggies. The fried shrimp looked like a horrible frying job with old old oil. The chicken.. letsjust say that that is why we didn't continue. I've heard good things about this place in the past. Right now they need a healthinspector. Read more
