Reviews for Ha'Penny Bridge Pub in Boise, ID
Amazing bartenders, amazing Management, amazing music, amazing drinks, amazing prices, my pub of choice for Boise!
20 minutes for apps, another 20 minutes for entrees. Appetizer had been sent through the microwave. In lieu of red potatoes, my... corned beef and cabbage was served with home fries/hashbrowns. Tried to dress the home fries with malt vinegar, to which wediscovered; THEY WATERED DOWN THE MALT VINEGAR! The fact that they have disabled ratings on their Facebook page speaks volumes. When they were doing their reopening, they advertised they were under new management with a new kitchen... I just don't seeit. I hate to say it, because this pub has been an icon of downtown Boise for so long, but it is time for this place to die andbe replaced with something that actually wants to make the effort. Server was as helpful and accommodating as he could be withthe tools that were provided to him, which is the only reason this place gets 2 stars instead of one. Read more
I've been a few time and am always disappointing. This place has potential, the location is great, the concept is great, but it... sadly falls short. Part of the dinning area always seems to be being used for storage, which is very off putting, and the foodseems to be basic "re-heatery" fare (not very good & probably not made in house). They'd be well served by cleaning the placeup & putting more effort into the quality of their food. Read more
A Boise institution! It's dark and cozy, with good beer, good booze and good food. They have a really nice atmosphere and a lot... of fun. It's not a kid appropriate place although I think kids are allowed. They've had live music in the past and in myopinion it's usually far too loud. I don't want to scream at the people at my table. (This is common of most places with livemusic to be honest.) I do love this place! Their beers are unique and super tasty as is the food! Read more
Boise's go to for Irish beer and fair, and place to catch a futball game. Large selection of Irish and local craft beers, and... Irish cuisine. I personally suggest the Bangers and Mash with a tall pint of Guinness. Slainte! Read more
