This was my favorite Boise coffee shop. Staff and drinks were great. Then most staff turned over several months ago and my... simple drink, a vanilla latte, is too hot. I've also been ordering them warm/drinkable temp/luke hot for some time. The ownerresponded, no change. Drink is still always too hot and the milk is watered down, not foamy. I have to wait to let it cool downand it's just not a good latte. Now I see papers advertising local events on their counter, including support for socialism.There are some very nice people there, but so I no longer get annoyed with my drink or offended by the political literature,I'll find a different place. If I can leave my former home state of 50 years to get away from the destruction caused bysocialist tendencies, I can find a different coffee place. Read more

I was out exploring downtown Boise for the first time on a beautiful autumn day. The kind of day that makes you want to sit... outside and enjoy a nice hot coffee. So you know what? That?s exactly what I did. The staff was very friendly and attentive,and my americano was great. They have a nice sitting area outside where you can just relax and enjoy the sights. When I visitnew cities I always try to support local coffee shops if I can, so I was happy to give Dawson Taylor my business. Definitelyrecommend them to anyone looking for good coffee in the area.
