This place is magnificent! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance and scenery is enchanting and has a feel of living back in... the 1800's or whatever Era the decor is from!! Absolutely astonishing! The service was prompt and kind. The value was alsoworth every cent. The experience was remarkable and we will definitely be going back for the calamari, ceviche and guacamole...appetizers!!! The entrees were all good as well! Great food and service! Beautiful atmosphere with fun, artistic hidden elements! We were greeted professionally but asked four... times in a row if we?d been in before and if we were celebrating. Conversation gets interrupted w various staff repeatedly wsame questions. Checked out Barbacoa?s sister gig for Happy Hour which is two for one house cocktails. Got a couple appetizers which, in our... opinion, could pass for entrees!! Wow. Very shareable and very filling. This would be an excellent stop for a large group. Moreitems to try that way. After we finished I noticed an item on the very bottom portion of the menu I wish I saw earlier. A shareplatter that I will definitely order next time I visit. There were tables nearby that did and it looked phenomenal! Bothcocktails were delicious! They have a solid bartender. Good service and good food. Our table tried the dinner specials and red snapper and appetizers. Pork belly was good but it was a... little on dry side. Variety of drinks to pick from. Portion size on specials were big plates while certain dinner entrees weresmall or just enough. Snapper was tender and well seasoned maybe a touch on salty side. We had a good experience. Read more
