My wife and I were born and raised in Boise. We have tried all of the pad thai places around here. This is literally hands down... the best. Not only that, their sesame green beans are straight heaven. Highly recommend the huckleberry mule! And they went outof their way to make my lady a Mai tai which was also perfection. And then throw in the best service we have had in years, fromnot only our server, but the bartender, manager, and the cooks too. It was truly the best experience we?ve had in years. Really happy with this place. The food, drinks, and service were all top notch. I don't understand why the hipster bar across... the street has a line out the door when this place is so much better. Classy setting and you can actually taste the alcohol inthe cocktails. Great addition to the neighborhood. Read more
We stopped by in the evening. Enjoyed 4 different items on the menu. All fresh, good taste, went great with the drinks. Great... service. Like the decor and hip feel, BUT . . . the management needs to dim those lights. It feels like we are sitting in asports stadium. Ambience is part of the value . . . ambience makes customers want to stay, hang out, invite friends, order morenoshes. But those lights needs dimmers . . . pronto. We recall reading the advance announcement article in the paper and howexcited the owner/manager was about creating the just-right atmosphere. You're close, Boss, almost there, now fine tune thefeel. Brand new and a great addition to downtown. Spacious and modern deco, awesome cocktail menu and a small menu of maybe 10 sharing... plates - we had 6 of them and every one was fantastic. Staff were super friendly. Will DEFINITELY be back. Read more
Have been here twice and the majority of food was excellent. My one critique is that the options for drinks are limited to... really what the owners want you to drink not what you may like to drink. (White Russians are my favorite drink and not availableand my husband's Old Fashion is not to recipe.) Although my husband and I are known in our friend group for paying $500-600for a excellent meal for just the two of us, I don't know if B?i will come around with their options. So excited when I heard that b?i lounge was opening up right next to Yen Ching (same owners) where I have been going to for... years. One of the best parts of b?i lounge is that they offer a fusion menu, including one of my favorite dishes... bibimbap! Very chill atmosphere and they have space for hosting birthday parties or a company event. Thumbs up! Read more
