We celebrated my mother's 83rd birthday at The Creek on July 6th. We arrived 10 min. Early for our reservation but we were... seated immediately. The atmosphere was that of a wonderful old farmhouse situated on the creek with beautiful appointments. Wewere greeted by an entertaining and highly professional waiter who brought us well-poured drinks. We were served a tasty breadand a house cream of mushroom soup that was the best I ever had. The menu was varied enough to provide something for everyoneand everyone commented on how flavorful everything was. I can highly recommend the Snapper a la Creek which was the best seafoodI have ever tasted. Even the hard to impress will most certainly be impressed. Feels like a hidden gem! Very pretty view of the creek. Delicious food! Even the chef special soup (not pictured) was yummy. We... had escargot, hubby said it was the best he's had. Mussels & linguine, he likes a white wine sauce note, bug he's a garliclover. Said the red chorizo sauce was still yummy. I had the shrimp tampico. Perfectly cooked, great flavor, linquine on theside was tasty. Then when the chocolate mousse cake came out, hubby said "holy sh*t" louder than expected, it was big but sofluffy with mousse. We had our 1st visit here to Boerne for our annual spring break holiday with friends and this restaurant was recommended. We had... a party of 8, made a reservationon OpenTable app whichworkedgreatfor us. Richard was our server and he was excellent. All whohelped him serve were just as wonderful. Beautiful Scenic views surrounding the patio. Patio overlooks Cibolo Creek. On point service. Friendly staff. Complementary stew... and sourdough bread. Food is delicious and great selection of wine. Reasonable prices for fine dining. Plenty parking. Read more
Really neat historical building, fantastic service and good food. Our waitress is the reason we will return! The food was good &... drink menu was large. I really enjoyed my dessert of Crème brûlée My husband enjoyed the fried lobster though he thoughtthe batter was a little overpowering. Over all we will definitely return. Read more
