The service is hit or miss. Sometimes the employees are friendly, sometimes not. What is always consistent, is the older (Maybe... 50yrs old) gentlemen with glasses not washing his hands after touching just about everything else in the store and thenpreparing food. At least three times I have seen this, whenever he is making the sandwiches I walk back out. He has rung peopleup in gloves, washed dishes wearing those same gloves, then came back and started making sandwiches with those same gloves. Thisguy will touch his face, lean on the counter with his hands in the middle cash register area, walk straight over to the Subwayand start making sandwiches. Read more
I have been here twice and the same guy has messed up my order. First time, he basically smash and tears the bread. Like dude... you have a knife right there, use it. I then said I would like the Deluxe and he charges me for a whole different thing. So Ihave to go and explain to the clerk that I was overcharged. Ridiculous! The second time I go in to place an order, as he?spreparing my sandwich, he touches the door, back to my sandwich, touches other things, back to my sandwich. I don?t know abouty?all but I?m not trying to get sick. That?s how diseases/illnesses spread. I have quit going to the Subway in Boerne the counter people act like they are doing you a favor to make your order. It seems as... though every time I go there they have always JUST run out of what ever I wanted to put on my sandwich. Will not go back unlessthere are different people at the order counter. I go to this Subway because it is close to where I live and the other Subway is usually much busier. Unfortunately I have had... nothing but bad experiences. This morning it was 40 minutes after their open time and nobody was there yet. Two women inparticular who work there have no patience and will roll their eyes and sigh at you if you ask for more items to be put on yoursandwich or simply ask if they cut your sandwich in half. Old man working there, Max I believe is his name, would only grunt in responses and put way too much dressing and pepper on my... sandwich. Like took 20 seconds per condiment. Then he wrapped my sandwich, pretty well at first. But he couldn?t get the stickerto stick so he became visibly frustrated and took it out on my sandwich. He masticated the sandwich by squeezing so hard thewrapper became undone. Took him a solid minute and a half to wrap my sandwich and it was very deformed by that point.
