Great place for backdoor service headed straight to the trashcan...fries under cooked and the chicken tenders were dry and tiny.... Customer service was like the tenders. A $12 meal that was worth maybe half of that. Read more
Kids running the store who have absolutely no idea how to work at a restaurant. Still only running the drive thru and don?t... expect anyone to come out and help you for at least 15-20 min. Even if you are the only car, if you try and call the restaurantno one will pick up either. Very surprised if this place stays in business for much longer. Read more
I love bush's chicken as long as it's not from this location. The first time they were closed without power, but every other... business was open with power. Today was my 2nd time and I ordered the 20 piece tenders. They were tiny, tremendously overcooked, and old(meaning cold) I will never be back to this location. If you are a bush's employee in charge of responding to reviews,don't bother with a canned apology. Bush's corporate needs to pull their franchise tag from this owner before they damage agood company's business and reputation. Read all reviews before buying from this location. I frequent this area and have always loved Bush?s. However all 4 times I?ve been to this one it?s just been terrible all the way... around. The workers barely say two words to you. Cool, whatever, I didn?t come to socialize I came for the quality of chickenthat I?m used to. But every time I?m let down. The chicken tenders are extremely tough, some I can?t even bite through. They?reTINY. I?ve been to many Bush?s Chickens and I?ve never seen them this small. The rolls are always burnt too. The only thingthat?s ?okay? are the fries hence the 1 star. Despite my daughter's advice about Bush's chicken here I still wanted some and said " Let's give them a chance" well, I... should've listened , like she said " read the reviews" . The chicken was cold, the mashed potatoes were old and dry , cornnuggets cold and dry and so was the roll and gravy, I'm not one to give a negative review for no reason but I was sodisappointed for the poor customer service that I just had to, I hope this helps and they fix this. I have to say, "Oh, yum". We got a large order of fried chicken, rolls (also, Yum), plus mashed potatoes and gravy, plus... coleslaw and it was still delicious the next day, AKA leftovers! The fried chicken was crisp and perfectly seasoned, and Ididn't want to stop enjoying it; and I must say whatever oil they are using for frying does not have any aftertaste. I was notdeprived in any way, shape or form, full to the brim both evenings. This trip to Texas has been a delight, and the food here isdelicious ????. Read more
Dining room has been closed for over 2 years now, so 1 star on atmosphere. Service was terrible, so 1 star. Food was cold, so 1... star. I ordered over the phone at 5:56pm. Was told 10 to 15 minutes. I arrived at 6:15pm expecting to be handed food...but theyhanded food to everyone else in line except me. I was the last one...waiting all alone. Finally I demanded my money back andthey told me one second and went inside. 2 minutes later they come to the door with attitude and say "do you want your moneyback or your food?". I took the food and asked to be compensated for the extra 30 minutes of waiting. They refused to doanything, not even a cup of sweet tea. So I gave them back the food and requested a refund. I will never set foot in a bushesagain. The bushes chicken in boerne will be shut down in less than 12 months time. Im not sure how they are open even today withhow terrible they're service has always been. I think it's because the people of boerne are kind and patient people. But I'veran out of patience with this place. I highly recommend you take your business to canes or dairy queen if you want chicken. Read more
