I must say the food and the service here are excellent. I have eaten at this restaurant twice now and the food is fresh, the... restaurant is clean, the employees are pleasant and are trained properly but the highlight so far has been the manager. I don?tknow his name but he is fantastic. He checks on you, makes sure you are enjoying the food and even brings you lids and bags foryour takeout!! We have been making a huge effort to eat as clean and healthy as possible, including eliminating meat from our diet. Eating... mostly Mediterranean, we were excited to try Olive U and quickly became loyal customers. Michael, the manager, is on top ofeverything and you?ll be greeted by his warm smile and friendly staff. The falafel and tofu are our favorite protein choices. Honestly? my new favorite food place in the area. I tried it last weekend, loved it. I went back today & LOVED it, again. Similar setup/idea as Chipotle or Subway but with Mediterranean options. Start with your base: pita, rice, lettuce, or hummus.... Add the protein or vegetables you?d like. Finish it with a sauce. Food is fresh and delicious. Gyro meat is excellent. Woulddefinitely recommend the spicy feta appetizer. It?s similar to a feta spread I had at a swanky spot in the Hamptons. I?d have toadmit I liked this one better because of the jalapeños. Overall, it?s huge step up on fast food. You can be in and out in lessthan 5 minutes if they are not busy. I definitely love to come to this place! Healthy, fresh, tasty food? My picture doesn?t show the Chicken Shawarma and the Brown... Rice with Lentils. Those were my bases ( delicious). The local is clean, and there are tables indoors and outdoors. The staffis very kind. The location is extremely convenient and it is quite easy to park because the parking lot is huge.
