Excellent service, mediocre food for the prices. Had the soup which seemed to have frozen spinach. Anchovies, dark ones not... white. Honestly, have had better food at Renzo’s which is a great neighborhood family restaurant with fair prices. I’ve been here multiple times now and each time the food is delicious. High quality, great presentation, it’s really a... treat! But every time there is always an issue with the service. The service is slow, they’re long gaps between when yourwaiter takes your order or checks in. These small items wouldn’t cause me to write a review like this, however, last nightwas specifically a poor showing of management, especially given the status and price of this restaurant. My card had been runon different table and it took an inappropriate amount of time for the waiters to resolve the issue. Not only that, the waiterthat served us was unaware of the issue, could not provide an explanation to what was the issue and was shocked to see mypartner and I waiting outside not knowing what to do. But what really was the cherry on top was the fact that we could see themanager yelling at his staff in plain view of the restaurant. The food was excellent. The complimentary little appetizers they give you are very different. They serve you bruschetta , salami... , and block aged parmigiana cheese. Excellent for the pallet. My wife had the salmon and I had the pounded veal.Both cookedperfect and excellent seasoning. Extremely classy restaurant. Very upscale. I was honestly very disappointed by Il Mulino in Boca Raton. It is a small restaurant yet the vibe is not there… The service... did not meet my expectations considering their prices were high. The server was not very attentive and disorganized betweencourses. I had an oyster with caviar which tasted old and bad that I did not dare to eat. My husband had a veal that looked likepizza and just so heavy… I also had salt crusted branzino which was expensive but it wasn’t too special for the price. I amdisappointed. The food and service were absolutely exquisite. My girlfriend and I had an incredible meal. Before we were even asked for... drinks, we were served our preference of water with bruschetta, olive focaccia, and fresh parmesan. Our captain, Ivan, took ourorder starting with the cold octopus salad that was on special that night, we opted also for Black Truffle Porcini Ravioli,Bolognese, and shared Rack of Lamb. We opted for additional black truffle shaved on the ravioli. Decedent, melt-in-your-mouth.Nearly indescribable flavors in that pasta. A must when you dine there. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the meal was pacedjust right for us to enjoy it all. We were so full, we turned down dessert. Next time we'll likely go straight to the maincourses to save room for dessert. Finally, Icing on the cake was the complimentary house-made limoncello and coconut grappa atmeal's end.
