We stayed at the attached hotel, so we were able to have both dinner and breakfast the next morning. We had nice servers, and... both meals were great. I highly reccommend the Station 81 burnt brisket ends with cornbread & mac n' cheese. Dang, that is sometasty comfort food! For breakfast, we had the buttermilk pancakes with berries & whipped cream, and the Sweet Sunrise FrenchToast, which is the best french toast I've ever had in my life. It is practically a dessert. I ate it here 10 years ago, andhave been dreaming of it ever since, and it was just as good this time if not better. Well done! Read more

I usually try to give staff and businesses a good chance, and I am understanding of staffing issues due to covid. However this... restaurant/bar was very poorly run this morning. The staff ignored us upon arrival, in fact I had time to walk around the entireresort before the rest of my group was even acknowledged. I am understanding of wait times to be seated, but the avoidance ofthe staff was unprofessional. The team needs some guest service training. That being said they were pleasant, they simply seemto lack the experience needed to run the restaurant. After we were seated they informed us they were out of the following:bacon, sausage, hollandaise sauce, and buiscits. This eliminated a large part of the menu. We then ordered drinks. Three screwdrivers, two mimosas. The staff had to come back after a few minutes and ask how to make a screwdriver. The drinks came withlittle to no alcohol in them. After an hour we were still waiting for food in the almost empty restaurant. Once the food came itwas ok. My potatoes were undercooked and the chicken fried steak was cold. I hope that any resort staff that reads theseunderstands that this is not me raking the restaurant through the coals, but offering suggestions to improve. All that beingsaid. It is a wonderful looking campus with a lot to offer. Some staff training is desperately needed, but that can be improved. Read more

The view, the food, the beer and the staff are all amazing!! I asked the waiter for a recommendation between 2 dishes, one was... the most expensive on the menu the other middle of the road cost. He recommended the lower costing because he said the flavorwas better. He had a chance to raise the bill and didn't, he gave a genuine recommendation based off flavor of the food notcost. I will absolutely be back next time I'm out this way. The staff all of them were so friendly, genuinely happy and it mademy day!! Thank you for the great service. Read more

Finding TwoBarrels Taps was a pleasant surprise in Boardman. Buffalo Cauliflower Bites and Fish Tacos were some of the best I?ve... had, and not only reasonably priced, but my wife and I each took away leftovers enough for another meal. We will be back on ournext trip through the area. Read more

We were just passing through Boardman and came upon this place. Looked interesting so we went in. It does have a very new feel... and not yet lived in feeling. Maybe in 10 or so years it will be able to give off the true "lodge vibe." Service was good (Wealways make allowances for businesses dealing with the covid crunch.). My wife had a very good chicken Caesar. I ordered the elkburger and was not disappointed. Usually an elk/bison burger comes out in the petite size of a 50 cent piece but this was afull-on burger. The lack of rustic ambiance was made up for by a table by the window looking over the river at sunset. We lookforward to coming back and spending some time in one of their cabins by the river.
