We came to Maine on vacation to explore the coast. We stopped at Duffy's for dinner. We ordered two glasses of white wine,... shrimp and scallops scampi and haddock taco with quinoa salad. I found a fruit fly in my wine so I had to return it. The wineselection is not great. However, the food was tasty and service was fast. We noticed some fruit flies flying around. Won't comeback. We had a wonderful time at dinner on Saturday 9/10. Our waitress (Gretchen) did a great job with our large party. The cooks did... a great job with the food as well and everyone was happy with their meal. I was slightly worried bringing a big party into arestaurant only because staffing is so hard right now. We were prepared for that but never encountered feeling like there was astaff shortage if there was one. So happy we came to Duffy?s, great experience!! Read more
Was my first time visiting. Seems like a rustic style tavern. Our waitress wasn't on her A game though. We waited a long time... for our drinks as we watched other people behind us get theirs ahead of us. Then the bartender came out and talked to a customerfor quite awhile, while he was talking our drinks were brought, my partner's mixed drink actually began to separate and my beerwasn't very cold, we figured she let them set at the bar for quite awhile. The food was ok, they have pretty good burgers. I gotthe Reuben, was glad to see it was actually grilled however the corned beef was quite tough. Maybe if it was sliced thinner andcooked a lil longer. Might try it again, I don't know. Read more

I've lived in the area for many years and used to be a regular patron of Duffy's. Unfortunately my last visit was disastrous and... I would not return. We ordered three almost-identical burgers, all requesting pink in the middle (per the menu). Thirty minuteslater, the burgers arrived as tough as leather and two went sent back for a "quick replacement." Another 20 minutes (the firstperson had finished her meal), two burgers were delivered completely well done and only marginally better but still very dry.Our waitress from start to finish was was an F-, and when we (twice) asked for the manager, a man dressed in a worn t-shirt andbaseball cap came out. The second time we addressed the problem, he had the audacity to actually YELL at us in front of otherguests, claiming the cook was still being trained and "what did he want us to do about it." Absolutely appalling. Left withouteating. Until there are personnel changes, I would never, EVER patronize Duffy's again. For great food and service, walk a blockdown to Kelly's. Read more
Terrible experience! We ordered 2 burgers one with onion rings. Ordered pink in the middle but what we got was charred! They... completely burnt one side of both burgers and covered the burnt side with cheese the onion rings were also cooked to the pointthey were burnt. They were nice enough to take off the price of 1 burger so 30 dollars for food that was unedible. Will never goback. The only good thing was the service or waiter was great Read more
Excellent food and fantastic service. Don't love that they pass along credit card fees, but found out last visit that if you... use the QR Code on the bill, you can use a card without getting the extra 3% charge. Definitely plan to go back and highlyrecommended to anyone considering going. Read more
