Ordered a few weeks ago. They forgot my pasta salad substitution I paid extra for. I was promised if I ordered again, they... would put that in the next order as well as an extra one. Ordered again this evening, no pasta salad as promised, AND theyforgot my drinks I ordered for THIS order. They owe me money for pasta salad sub, a medium drink, and a large drink. We often order from Groucho's. My hubby's favorite sandwich is always just right. This evening I got the My Wife's salad with... an extra dressing. The dressing cups contain very minimal amounts as in comparison to what they had previously been. I alsohad two very large hunks of iceberg core that are what I always throw away. The biggest disappointment was that my salad had nocheese cubes and we all know how loved those are. Hope this is not indicative of what is yet to come. Read more
The waitress was new and she did her best to keep up with everyone... my issue was her shift lead or manager gave me a complete... distate for the entire place! I felt so bad for the new waitress because we all know it starts with the leader! That girl thatwas acting as leader during my visit was lazy, entitled, on her phone often and very unprofessional, quoting inaccurate menuinformation etc. I was beyond excited to share my love of grouchos with a brand new customer... however I usually go to the onein Lexington and this was the one I visited that day and was sorely disappointed with that specific girl, it definitely trickleddown to the attitudes of the other employees as I could tell the guys making the food weren't happy to be there. They gave uswrong items, as well as didn't make some to the grouchos standards I'm used too. I'm not certain if I'd visit this one againwith how bad of a taste I left with... Read more
I?d like to start this post by saying I go to the Groucho?s in Blythewood ALOT. When I call in I use my mom?s name because... frankly no one ever gets mine right lol. So now they know me as my mom?s name lol. The staff is amazing. Every time they see methey know exactly who I am. It?s honestly like walking in and being greeted by friends. The service is so good and they reallydo make it feel like such a welcoming place to be. And the food is amazing too! I?m so sad to be leaving my hometown grouchos tobe moving away to a new town. But I will always come back and visit because of how exceptional the service is and how kindeveryone is. So if you?re thinking of choosing to eat here. You absolutely should. If you are hungry for a great sandwich or feeding a large group of people with difficult orders, vegetarians, gluten free, small... portions ( fewer calories), big portions, carnivores or whatever go to Groucho's.
