They never cease to amaze me with their delicious Asian dishes. Always have their sushi and other dishes as well. My go to place... when Asian food is what I crave. Just absolutely love coming here for lunch or dinner. Always look forward to trying anotherdish. Read more
We went for lunch and had the lunch specials, which were a great price at $8 to $13, and a good variety. When we sat down the... waitress brought us some fried noodles and dipping sauce which were Very tasty. I had the fried tofu and vegetable with whiterice and husband had the honey chicken with fried rice. Both were very good! Nice open seating inside with nice decor andlighting. Read more
PFChang vibe without the PFChang price! From top to bottom and start to finish, this was a stunningly amazing dining... experience!! On Friday 6 pm, I was seated within minutes after being greeted by the very professional staff. The ambiance andenvironment resembles high end restaurants you see in LA or NYC. It is relaxing, appropriate for dinner conversation. Their menuis short (to your advantage) and easy to understand. Once our order was placed, our food arrived in less than 15 minutes. Hereis the best part, the food. They were aptly portioned and wonderful made. They did not skim on the meat, where most would have.The fried rice were perfectly seasoned and moist but not greasy. The sweet and sour chicken was plentiful, although the saucecould be mixed a bit better. Both dishes were nothing short of satisfying and superb and we were able to get two meals out ofthem. The next best part, the price?this was no more expensive than any other ?usual? Chinese restaurants, but Akomeya AsianBistrol is anything but usual. This is almost perfect. I was so fired up when this place opened in December. There isn?t a decent Asian restaurant in this area, but now there... is!!! The Shrimp dishes are all excellent and the specialty fried rice (Yang Zhou Fried Rice) is SUPERB! Also the Singaporenoodles are some of the best I?ve had since I was in Singapore in 1991. I highly recommend this place in the Low Country as aMUST STOP for authentic Asian cuisine. Read more
