This is the most fantastic place to stay. It is set at the base of amazing bluffs. The amenities are over the top. It is beyond... clean. The decor is charming with a touch of luxury. The indoor pool is fantastic with all the special touches. Plenty ofpoolside seating with cushions and tables, even a shower to rinse away body oils before you dip and the chlorine after yourswim. The view out the pool house windows is really something. There are chairs all along the decks outside the rooms to sit andtake it all in. The staff is incredibly friendly, too. Truly top notch! We stayed in an executive cabin which was so adorable and cozy and nicely appointed. And the price was incredibly reasonable. So... convenient to park our car right in front of our cabin and a short minute walk to lobby area. Front desk accommodating...we werebooked for 3 nights but needed to leave a day early and they will not penalize us for cancelling last night. 2 negatives...nofood available for breakfast or lunch. Duke's restaurant offers dinner but was closed tonight due to worker shortage...a note ondoor notified us. Also, pillows are hard lumpy foam pieces and feather pillows not available. Room was very clean and bathproducts surpringly nice. Highly rec... Read more

We had a very nice room with everything we needed except hairdryer. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room to put... stuff. The bathroom door just BARELY misses the toilet- that's how small the bathroom is, but that doesn't bother us.Everything was clean and comfortable. The location is at the end of Bluff- which doesn't have much going on, but not too farfrom other sites. There is a tiny cafe down the road at a small resort, where we ate lunch. The menu is very limited, butfresh and delicious. Read more

Made a quick overnight stay at Desert Rose in a "Lodge King" room. I arrived super late but had no issues finding my room and... getting settled to my lower-level, back of the building room. The room was spacious and clean. Others have mentioned that the ACunit was a bit loud...I don't fault Desert Rose for that at all...it's a typical "hotel style" AC unit. Other than that, everything was super quiet and I couldn't hear other guests. Comfortable mattress & bedding. I would definitely recommend thisspot and stay here again if I were passing through. Really impressed with this gem in the desert. Sat on the porch of our deluxe queen room and took pictures of the stars and moon.... Quiet and beautiful room. The AC is a bit loud but good for white noise. Large pool the kids swam in to get out their energy. Read more
