This Waffle House appeared to us on the side of the highway after a concert. I?ll admit it took some convincing to choose the... Waffle House over say a McDonalds or Taco Bell. I am incredibly grateful I was convinced because from the moment I walked in Iwas met with a home away from home. Sitting in that booth felt like sitting in an old leather recliner that?s been broken in fordecades. Our server was incredibly friendly, he is family now. The diet coke was mid tbh but I should?ve gotten water to beginwith that?s my bad. The menu was the same as any other waffle house. It was the server?s recommendations that sent it above andbeyond. We did not take these recommendations but to know he cared was really nice. We talked to him about the concert we sawand explained the appeal to a niche alternative rock band which he proceeded to accept with an open mind. The man later playedAJR on the jukebox so I don?t really care about his opinion on music but it was nice to feel understood. We ate the food, wasgood ig. We finished the night with three weezer songs back to back on the jukebox. This was by far my favorite obscure out oftown Waffle House session to date. Overall, the usual Waffle House consistent, edible,(sub)standard food quality.. just once I wish my breakfast biscuit sandwich's... biscuit didn't fall apart the moment u first touch it. Overnight hours visit so can't comment on foot traffic Read more
