The staff and service here is amazing. My grandma and I stopped in to eat and to celebrate her final cancer treatment. It was a... very windy day and the young lady working (Trisha) seen me holding the car door due to the wind blowing so my grandma could getout with her walker. Trisha seen us and came outside to help. Then after we ordered she brought us a couple small cups of icecream to celebrate (on the house). The food was very good also. Ok.... so we tried this place on our way back from an 8 day vacation and this was our favorite food of the whole vacation! Whyyy... is it 3 hours from home? We got the garlic chicken and the pork meals. They look simple and straight forward but the flavorspack a punch! I've already been online looking for a copycat recipe for the macaroni salad. Second time we?ve tried this Hawaiian brothers location. Both times my food has been burned/scorched. This second time the... Honolulu chicken was so over done, I didn?t even attempt to finish it. Pretty disappointed, as I was really looking forward tothis. They lost our business, won?t be going back. Management reached out to us. Decided to give it another shot. We usually go to the Lee's Summitt location and we like the food but we decided to try this location. It's jammed into a corner... and crossed thru the long drive thru traffic into kiosk hell.. The kiosk wouldn't take my coupon so onto a real person cashierto do that. Then... nothing... our food sat in the pickup window unannounced for awhile... the seating area is limited but wefound a large table and my wife wandered up to the non-descript window and picked up our food...Just don't like the hi-tech fastfood vibe here and probably won't go back. This a 2nd time we bought food from this chain. We will make sure to come by every time we are in town. This time we went... through the drive-through late at night. We could hear and understand then through the speakers which is so awesome! Mostdrive-through equipment sucks, theirs is top-notch. The employee at the drive-through was friendly and very helpful. We wantedto swap out a rice bowl with veggies and they help us make that happen. We ordered a large Honolulu chicken. Everything wasdelicious! The macaroni salad was yummy. The veggies could use a little bit more seasoning. Our chicken did have sesame seedsbut missing green onions. But overall good service and tasty chicken. We will be back. Read more
