Reviews for The Boot Saloon in Blue River, CO
Wings and salmon sandwich were outstanding. Generous pour and very fair price. Nice surprise.
Service was below average (just a few tables & servers were inattentive). We had to ask for everything and took forever to... receive our orders. When we did receive them, they were undercooked. For example, the mozzarella sticks were cold in the middle(couldn't even be microwaved properly). Salads were decent but other plates like the French dip were unappetizing. Overall, definitely recommend eating somewhere else or picking up some microwave pizzas from the market at the lobby of the Grand TimberLodge. Read more
Cold beer and bartenders that can make a decent cocktail. Unfortunately did not try the food but heard the wings are good.
Used to be our favorite place when it was the Lodgepole managed by Cheese. We gave tried numerous times to frequent this place.... Unfortunately, it us nit like it used to be. Even the locals that used to frequent the place for it"s great food and bluemargheritas don't show up any more. This weekend was the cou'p detat. Came in Saturday sat at table and was not evenacknowledged as bartender and waiters walked by me 15 times. Ordered chicken wings, came out burnt black, yet cold in themiddle. Today came un sat at empty filthy bar. Only customer, sat there for ten minutes, totally ignored before bartender askedme what I wanted we always tip AT LEAST 30%, even tonight. Your employees do not enjoy their jobs, get pleasant people wirjingthere Thr Boot is an embarassment to The Grand Timber Lodge. Get Cheese back.l Read more
Despite the other reviews remarking on the show service and the sign at the door asking patrons to be patient and kind because... they are short staffed (it's sad that people have to be told to be nice), we had an excellent experience here. They only had twoservers covering the entire restaurant and the bar and everything came out fast, efficiently, and with a friendly face. Thankyou! Read more
It's nice to have a restaurant available if you're staying at the Grand Timber Lodge. The food is decent but not mouthwatering.... It was definitely satisfying but the cheese steak could use a little more cheese and the Salmon BLTA had a little too muchbread. Maybe I'm nitpicking. Nice vibe in the restaurant with TVs to keep an eye on whatever game is on. Read more
The hours are a bit short and these folks are under staffed. Now the positives; incredibly convenient for guests at the lodge,... the staff are really friendly, and the food is good. I won't say they are Michelin Star contenders, but they can certainly holdtheir own against any pub and grub out there. I don't drink, but it looks like the bar is very well stocked. Definitely worthchecking out. Read more
Only dropped in for drinks before taking family photos on a nearby trail, but the staff was great!
