Amazing, eco-conscious, unique. Worth a visit if you are near Acadia. However, no cell service out this far so just map out your... route beforehand Read more

Message to the owner. Why when you "try your hardest to make prices as low as possible" are there multiple items in your store... significantly higher in price than the exact same thing at tradewinds? I'm genuinely curious. It's very irritating. Read more

I can't say enough great things about this market and the enormous selection of healthy & specialty foods. It has everything I... need, some items cost less than when ordering online. You can eat in or take out, coffee, sandwiches & salads are great. Read more

The cafe hours are listed as until 5:30pm on their website, but everything was packed up by 4:15pm on a Saturday. There were... just a few grab and go items that didn?t look particularly appealing in the case. Unfortunately we were famished and reallycounting on a meal at the co-op, and decided to leave and go elsewhere. The water cooler was also empty (why not just have awater fountain?). Long lines at the registers too. Read more

Ordered sandwiches and did some grocery shopping. Will return when we visit again. Everything was fresh and delicious.

We drive 140 miles round trip almost every week to buy organic from this store. I promise it is one of the best. Wish they had... some cafe items without gluten and animal fat. Some organic guacamole without nightshades added would be great. Like their wineselection. Good selection of malbec and sangeovese reds. Wish they would mark the local, uncertified veggies with maybe yellowprice cards. Best organic store this side of Portland. Read more

Beautiful store with delightful staff and some unique items. I buy a lot of organic produce and products and I don't kind paying... a premium for them. However, this is one of the most expensive grocery stores I've ever been to. A striking example is bellpeppers at over $8 per pound. Compare that to Tradewinds just down the street, their bell peppers of the same color is under $2a pound. To be fair, most items are not 4 times more expensive than other stores but they are priced significantly higher.Quality is not always the best either: an onion was half rotten when I sliced it open on the same day I purchased it. Also, there are some puzzling product misses like hemp milk. Overall it's a good store--just a bit disappointing. Read more
