Amazing patio, incredible food, impeccable service. If you are visiting Blowing Rock this is a "must go" place. It has an... amazing patio with lights and live music. The service was so helpful. I asked for Blackened Shrimp Basket as an appetizer, porkribs with coleslaw and fries as entrée. The taste was delicious, and the temperature appropriate. Decent service, food, and overall experience. I don't recommend the mixed drinks, but they have plenty of other drink options.... The pub fare menu is where it's at! I highly recommend the queso tots, mini pups, and spicy mac n cheese bites. The spinachartichoke dip, onion rings, and wings were also decent. Read more
Town Tavern on Main Street in Blowing Rock NC is a wonderful find. It is always busy but the wait goes by fast. The service is... good and the food is delicious. I had the fish and chips and it was so good. My husband had oysters and he was very pleased. Wewent back the next day it was so good and I had the Eastern Barbecue and my husband had fish and chips. They have inside andoutside dining and live music at different times. They have an area to play cornhole. Definitely a place we will return too. Read more
Nice tavern. Quick service and seating, was quite warm but it was hot outside so to be expected. Food was good for the type it... is. They shine on mixed drinks however. Would be a great place to grab late night appetizers and drinks with friends. Read more

Do I recommend this restaurant? We ate here two days in a row, so yes. We had such a great experience here with Baylee, we came... back the next day. Our first night there, It was raining off and on but we opted to risk it and sat outside. They have a greatpatio area and a live guitar player/singer that was actually very enjoyable and not too loud. I got the ribeye steak and cheesewith hot chips and my sister got the French dip with fries. Everything was so good! It did rain and I got wet so I just stoodup to stay under the umbrella. They offered to move us inside but we declined. The rain did not change the great tasting foodand I still enjoyed the music. That?s when I realized, you can?t control the weather but you can control your mood. Choose tobe happy! Baylee was so sweet and offered great service, even in the rain. When we went back the next day for lunch, wefigured Baylee wouldn?t be working so we didn?t ask for her. She actually was working, she recognized us and stopped by ourtable to say hello! How nice is that? Emma Grace helped us and she was also very polite and efficient. I got the crab cakesandwich with with fries and my sister got the fish sandwich with fries. Pretty decent food and atmosphere, but the music was a bit obnoxious. Super loud, cliche 80?s, and blasting inside in the room... we were seated in. The waitresses were friendly and the service prompt. Getting seated outside was a 30 min wait as opposed toinside immediately but with an ear beating. Read more
