My family has always loved Egg Roll-in whether it be the food truck or the restaurant in Blowing Rock. Today we drove... specifically to eat there and they had closed before we arrived. It just so happened they had an event going on and when theyheard we had drove there just to eat, they welcomed us in, allowed us to order, and we had a yummy late lunch on the outdoorpatio. 5 stars is an understatement, they deserve 100 stars!! Egg Rollin is hands down the greatest food chain in blowing rock/Boone... combined! The food is AMAZING, to say the least, I have never had any fast food so good that I have to make a point to go atLEAST once a week! Horrible service, cheap place! Our "waitress" was more interested in talking to her friends rather than her job. Brought our... fries out didn't ask if we'd like ketchup or anything else. Tasted the fries they had some kind of funky seasoning on them. ????Yuck. Asked for ketchup got 2 packets just like you would get at a fast food restaurant. Really?!?!? Such a unique restaurant! I?ve eaten from their restaurant and food truck, and they?re both outstanding! I?ve tried most of... the egg rolls on their menu, and every one of them have been delicious. The sauce they have somehow pairs very well with all oftheir non-dessert egg rolls. I highly recommend eating here! Read more
