I always been good fried chicken. I've not been disappointed. Only once in the years I have been going there was it a little... too crispy. It seems they are pretty slow in the kitchen or either don't drop your called in order into the grease until youarrive, because it is often very slow. This place used to be awesome but it's went down hill with the food we have eaten here for year's but we want be anymore the... wings are seconds and the cost is going so high for the quality of the wings we eat there this week and the wings tasted likethey had been cooked then warmed up and was super dry . We were driving through today around 11:30 on a Holiday Weekend. The Open sign was not turned on, the place looked dark, and all... the chairs inside were upside down on the tables. It was uninviting but we stopped anyway, as it is the last food before 231. Wewent Inside to order and the food took much longer than anticipated. When we finally got our food, my grandson needed to use thebathroom. The cashier said the bathrooms were out of order. I don't really believe that they were with the vibe of the wholerestaurant. I have enjoyed the food here before, but this was not a good experience at all. It seemed maybe they should havejust stayed closed if customers were that unwelcome. Read more
Driving through and happen to see this spot. Decided to pop in and give it a try. I mean, who doesn?t love fried chicken?... Inside, could use a lot of TLC and the bathrooms but i didn?t let it deter me from trying the food. It?s a small establishmentand very busy on a Sunday. I highly suggest you call in your order ahead. Otherwise you?ll be waiting a while. I ordered thefamous chicken filet with fries, my husband ordered the box special with fries and corn nuggets. It?s alright. Could use alittle more flavor. First off it's cash only. We stopped by on our way to Tampa from PCB. The reviews were mostly good so we decided to give it a... try as my wife was craving chicken. The iced tea was great! The service was good and friendly. Everything else was reallybad! The chicken was barely warm and wayyy too salty! The fries were stale and barely warm! Mac and cheese was blah! We threwmost of the food away! Price is way too high as the quality of the food is terrible! The building is really rundown anddilapidated inside and out! Restrooms were disgusting! No hot water which may be a health code violation. Definitely pass thisplace by and go elsewhere! Read more
