Jimmy runs the show at Human! The place is the hidden gem of Bloomington. After only asking my name once he remembered and... greats me like an old friend as he does with all of their guests. We decided to try this place out after reading the reviews and I have to admit that the food is pretty good. We came from... Chicago for the weekend and the food was very similar to my favorite spot in Chicago. We tried the orange chicken, pork friedrice, beef lomein, egg rolls and potstickers. Wow! Super super place. If you are looking for a quick lunch, good food and polite and friendly staff, this is your place. I... have been here five times in the last couple weeks. They have a lunch special for $11.99 that includes soup, side, full meal andalmond cookies. You leave FULL. For less of a price than a fast food chain. The food is fresh and HOT. I have tried many thingsand my favorite is the green bean chicken. It?s not on their lunch menu, but it?s delicious. The staff is also extremelyattentive and quick. This is extremely rare. The food here is always fresh and delicious. The service is top notch and the staff does a great job of taking care of you.... They've discontinued their buffet because of Covid, which is a shame. The lunch specials are filling and the portions are large.The restaurant always has an open seat and the take out is quick. Read more
This is the best damn Chinese I think I've ever had. The hot and sour soup was out of this world, and the hunan chicken had tons... of flavor as well. If I could add a Michelin star to this review, I would. And the service was lightning fast and friendly andthe no-frills dining area was chill af. How a Chinese restaurant should be, in all regards. Will be driving the 15+ minutes togo here for Chinese from now on. Also, a large dab before eating here will suit you well. Cheers Read more
