I am sitting outside the restaurant and they advertise open at 11AM on a Sunday. My son and I go to the door and after waiting a... couple minutes past 11AM a lady opens the door and states they are currently having a team building activity and be won't beopening until 11:30AM. Absolutely no signage or anything stating such. extremely poor business practice. If you need to have ateam meeting or any other sort of activity it needs to be planned around business hours to where you are not turning awaybusiness for someone who is looking to spend their money at your establishment. This experience alone will prevent me from everrecommending this place to anybody. Not sure what kind of management runs this place but it's obviously pretty poor. Read more
We stopped in here while visiting IU. Really good food, excellent service, and a good atmosphere. The waitress we had was as... sweet as can be. I had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich (I forget what it was called on the menu) and it was really good. My daughterhad a burger called an Archie and I tried it and it was delicious as well. My wife had a pork chop that I also tried and it wasthe best pork chop I've ever had. We would definitely go there again! Read more

I went here bc it's called Opie Taylor's. Turns out that theme is gone, replaced by fabulous food. The wonderful waitress said... their hamburgers were the best, but I chose the tenderloin and big cod fish sandwich. Both were the best tasting I've ever had.The big cod was a half pound of heaven, served on a sub bun. Prepared to perfection. The breaded tenderloin was also a halfpound of delight. Everyone in Bloomington is fortunate to have this restaurant in their midst. I drove 30 miles to try it. I'lldrive another 30 to try their specialty half pound burgers! Read more
