Must-have Thai food. After living in Southeast Asia for a few years these dishes did not disappoint. One of the best restaurants... in Bloomington hands down. For those of you intolerant of spice no need for worries they can make the dishes mild for you, butif you?re like me and want to be sweating they can also make that happen. Just go. I?ve been going here for 6 years and the quality has changed. The flavor isn?t there anymore. The last time we went my wife got... food poisoning. The side of fried rice melted the styrofoam so that?s disgusting. All and all, probably won?t be returning tothis location. West side has been better. Although, the flavor has been about the same. We used My Thai Downtown for our wedding about 20 minutes south of Bloomington, and it could not have been more perfect. Even... with the drive it arrived on time, hot, and the service was so helpful getting it inside on the heating trays. My husband andour immediate family love Thai food and knew it would be great, but several of our guests had never had it before and I thinkwere a little nervous. After one plate all their fear was gone! People had seconds and thirds, even my nearly 90 year oldgrandfather whose palate is finely tuned to steak and potatoes (he even took a box of it home! :) ). Mook was absolutelywonderful to work with, always being so kind and patient with us while we made adjustments. I got takeout from My Thai and it was good! I got the drunken noodles with Shrimp as my protein. The shrimp had an odd texture,... perhaps a bit over cooked but still fine. Overall I prefer Siam House but My Thai is not a bad option. Read more
