Very good chicken and assorted sides. Our food wasn't fresh out of the fryer, but was still tender inside. Sometimes there is a... LONG line with people waiting 10-40 minutes for a fresh order. People certainly think its worth it though. I'm not a fan of gasstation "food" options, but the food here certainly transcends that. Read more
Great chicken! I really enjoyed the fried chicken here! It came right off the fryer and was very crunchy on the outside but... still super juicy and tender on the inside. I would say the batter has a medium thickness. Besides the chicken, I would notorder the seafood (it had a bitter aftertaste) or the potato wedges (they were super salty). Bloomington, IN is extremely limited when it comes to fried chicken options, and Krispy Krunchy Chicken is the best you are... going get without having to drive 30 miles outside of town. That being said, this particular location is just awful. I orderedthe 6 piece chicken tender with a large potato wedge. I've never known a large to consist of 6 potato wedges of differentsize. To add insult to injury, both the chicken tenders and the potato wedges were horribly under seasoned, if at all. Take myadvice, and avoid the Krispy Krunchy Chicken on West 3rd ST. The N. Kinser Pike location is the superior of the two stores andsadly, they also have the best fried chicken and the best chicken tenders in town. Read more
It isn't much different from other convince stores. The store was clean, and well stocked. The woman working at the register was... very friendly. She even put the phone down when I got to the register. I was shocked! I personally can not stand it when thecashier is obviously talking(or more often than not, arguing) with their boyfriend/girlfriend and they ring you up withoutsaying anything but "that will be $4.75." Not the case today. Thank you very much! The store is easy to get into, but can bechallenging to get out of. I will definitely be back to do business another day. Read more
Just ordered the red beans and rice. The gentleman made it to order for me. But when I got home it was Barely warm. So I had to... microwave it a little more. And I forgot to ask for hot sauce. Read more
