The food here is great, however all their prices have become ridiculously high. One domestic beer is 5 dollars. The manger who... just took over doesn't care about cleanliness. One of the most unique bars in Bloomington for sure! They've got a loud, bright, and colorful interior with a lot of room for... standing, sitting, and dancing. The drinks are standard college town fare, but the decorations are extravagant. There's a lot tolook at here and a lot to do. Love the Cactus Tacos on their new menu. My partner said their chimichangas are the best in town. I've only dined here but it's... a trendy nightclub behind the dining area. Last time I went with a friend, they were only serving chicken wings. We wereexpecting a restaurant, so we left. I suspect this place is thriving as a nightclub and failing as a restaurant. Such an awesome place! My wife and I spent New Year's Eve at Kalao and listened to Thin Lines! The atmosphere was wonderful, the... wait staff was superb, and the drinks were wonderful! Colorful tropical modern chic vibes. Dance floor and stage for performances. We went on a weekday close to 11 pm so it wasn't... busy at all. Only had drinks but would be curious to see if their food menu is good. We ordered a Blue Hawaiian, and Buzz thetower which didn't disappoint as far as rum goes.
