Reviews for C3 Bar in Bloomington, IN
My wife and I went here tonight for our anniversary. It was highly recommended to us and I’d say the praise it got was... appropriate. The cocktails are great, the food was great, the dessert was great too! They even comped us the dessert because wewere celebrating, so thank you C3 for that! My wife ordered the pork tenderloin and it was tender and very nicely seasoned. Iordered the C3 burger. If you plan on ordering it, bring a mop, it’s that juicy! It’s like an inch thick, too, and cooked toperfection! The fries were good as well, I highly recommend them. The bread was tasty but I felt it was the most unmemorablepart of the meal. Regardless, I’m still giving 5 stars because everything else was great and the service was incredible! Theycame and checked up on us every few minutes, and I noticed all the staff doing the same for the tables surrounding us. Greatfood, friendly staff, a tad pricey, great location, and I’m overall satisfied and content. I will be returning! Read more
Always love going to C3! Probably one of my favorite places to eat in Bloomington. However this was my first time going while... being over the age of 21! First drink I had was at the recommendation of the server, “Life on cloud nine”, which was greatbut maybe a little strong for my tastes haha. Second was a mojito, which I always love. :) Food-wise we ordered the frites for astarter. They were amazing, of course, but the Parmesan aioli was to die for. For the main course I ordered their steak, and itwas tender & fabulous. Dessert we ordered to go, and I ordered their Quatro Leches cake. Which, let me tell you, I did not havea great night after leaving c3 but after eating the dessert when I got home, I was happier. :) Read more
Beautiful place to enjoy the evening outside. The tables are first come first served on their patio so get there a bit before... the rush for no wait! On Mondays they have a $5 cocktail that they post on their Instagram, I highly recommend going for thatpromotion. The food is also excellent, I like the pork tenderloin and the sliders. The fries are fantastic as well. Read more
For the most part, I enjoyed my experience: the food was delicious and the drinks were potent and tasty. However, the initial... service we received was lackluster, indeed, we were ignored for a full ten minutes before a server finally decided to take ourdrink orders. The server assisting the two tables on either side of us completely ignored us and never made eye contact. I'mstill trying to figure out if her treatment of us was due to us being Black or because one of us might have been read as queer.Either way, this is the second time in a week that I've dined at one of the so-called nicer restaurants in Bloomington andexperienced at best implicit bias, or worse, outright racism. To be clear, the server that eventually waited on us waswonderful, and the rest of the evening was fine. Read more
C3 has good food but it is not inexpensive relative to other Bloomington locations with similar caliber fare and... atmosphere. Personally a fan of sitting out doors here and unlike places near campus this is quiet with minimal foottraffic. I've yet to identify what I'd deem to be their "signature" dish so to speak but food has always been good albeit alacarte. Read more
C3 was great. The company obviously was the best feature, but we were sat outside near the fountain and it was such a tranquil... environment to enjoy our food and drinks. No erroneous bill issues. Great prices for an upscale establishment. Dress nicely andexpect great service. Although reservations haven't been mandatory, they're highly recommended. Read more
Friendly, comfortable, not pretentious. Fun menu and really, really good food and cocktails. The burger was amazing and cooked... perfectly to order. The Espresso Martini (see pic) had floral tones that brought it to next level delish. Highly recommend.Handicap accessible parking and entrance. Prices really reasonable for the quality of the food and environment. Read more
Great drinks, good food, though a very limited menu. I tried two Old Fashioned drinks, and both were really good. We really... liked the Frites and the Muhamara (for apps). Then we had the Pork Tenderloin and a chef special (something akin to jambalaya, was pretty good). Seems like they might rotate things a bit, so we'll be back again to try some new flavors! Read more
