Great local eatery. If you are a local, you know Schooners. Great food, busy but cozy atmosphere. Their beer batter is great... and they make most stuff in house. I normally don't post bad reviews, we were passing through town and found this place. Menu looked great. Sat right down, took... over an hour to get food. Food was cold, 2 of the 4 of us got the wrong food. I ordered the beer battered chicken breastsandwich with hot sauce on the side. Best guess is I got a grilled pork chop sandwich with hot sauce. Our appetizer came afterthe meal. (They did comp the app, we were thankful for that). The onion rings were great! I am hopeful this was just an offnight. Looking around, other folks food looked great. Will likely give another chance if we pass through town again. Read more
Came a little too late and missed out on the Tuesday fish because they were out. Ended up with the Italian beef. Not bad ,not... great. It was alright. Service was great. I was there for the company though and he says the Reubens are terrific! Read more
My absolute favorite restaurant! Chicken breast sandwich, deep fried, and dipped in the wild sauce with a side of ranch.... Perfection! They also have the best onion rings and their tenderloins are delicious. I will never pass up a chance to eat atSchooners! Read more
I always love this place. The king Tenderloin is a must see, it tastes great and could feed a family of 4. I've never ordered... anything here that didn't taste great. I had not been to Schooners since before the pandemic but I used to love their food so I thought I would give them a try. My... husband and I were not disappointed! We had the buffalo fried shrimp as an appetizer, fried chicken and fresh mashed potatoeswith white gravy, and an 2 orders of chicken wings, fire and bbq. Everything was DELICIOUS! It's been a while since we came here but it did not disappoint! Their mozzarella sticks are the best in town, probably because... they're hand breaded. We also had the corn fritters. They were very good but almost like a desert. We saved some to take homefor later. I had the garden burger which was fine and my boyfriend had the wings which he ate all of, in addition to some crispytots. The service was fast and we will come back! Read more
