The pizza was delicious as always but the appetizers weren't exactly all that. The service was friendly but they barely ever... checked up on us. I visited the restaurant on 8/15/22, in which, I experienced an issue with my order. The manager, Blaire, discounted my bill but... I opted not to eat it and had my server take it away. I was confused why Blaire discounted a meal that I didn't eat. Uponwanting to discuss the matter with Blaire for further insight, he told the sever "he was too busy to leave the kitchen", despitethat it was 11:30 am without any overcrowding, rush hour high call volume, or catered orders. He refused to speak with me butwanted me to pay the bill irregardless of my unresolved concerns. I told the server that I will not pay the bill until I spokewith him. Blaire took the item off the bill but never spoke with me-he said take her name or number. Blaire handled me verycarelessly and without regard to any respect or responsibility of efficient customer service. He did not treat me as a humanbeing, in that, there was no apology, care, or concern to personally address the matter at hand. I will patron the businessagain, however Blaire should conduct himself in a more kind, courteous, and professional manner when dealing with customers. Read more
Very good food, even better service. If you enjoy Chicago style food, then this is the place for you.
We have loved giodarnos for a long time, so when the in laws came over from England we thought it would be good to take... them. Unfortunately deep dish seemed more like flat dish- about half what it usually is. Not what we have experiencedhistorically and a huge disappointment. I posted the review below 3 months ago. The manager invited us to enjoy a meal for free. I must say that Giordanos has... redeemed themselves in our eyes! The pizza was delicious. The salad was perfect, and the staff was very friendly. Our familyis very grateful for the superb meal. And most importantly, Giordanos is once again my favorite pizza of all time! Thank youso much! 5 stars for me!!! ????? Wow! So disappointed! Giordanos has always been my favorite pizza! I?ve had it many timessince the restaurant opened. Pizza and salads were always PERFECT! Spot on! Today, the crust was not thick like it usuallyis. The salad (Greek salad) was missing the feta cheese. And the pizza was BURNT! I have attached pics. There was a sign onthe window that the dine in portion of the restaurant was closed due to staff shortage. I understand that, but if the qualitydoes not improve, the restaurant will not survive. ????
