Really good pulled pork and brisket, that tastes just right! The meat was good and lean. The restaurant is conveniently located... just off Clinton Street in Bloomington and well worth a try. Prices are a little above average. The employees were polite andcourteous. We will be back. Read more
My husband was craving BBQ and told took him here. He got bbq nachos with hot sausage I got the hot sausage as well on a bun... with fries and mac and cheese. This is the place to go if your craving some homemade food. Not a single complaint the food wasamazing and the portions were larger than expected and fair for the price. I was really looking forward to getting dinner here tonight. It was a bit of a let down. The ribs were tough and quite dry with... hardly any meat on them. ????. The ribs bones were big and 2 of my half rack had no meat on them. The other ones only had thinlayer of meat. When the person showed me my order, he went so fast I didn't realize that a side of coleslaw was missing, thatwent with my pulled pork plate. The saving grace for getting the 4 stars is that the pulled pork was good, the cheesy potatoesand green beans were delicious, as well as the corn bread. Always delicious food and excellent customer service. Everyone is super friendly and sweet every time I've been here. Special... mention for their brandin' iron beans ? it's absurdly good. Yummm. Decided to try this place out for my take home Thanksgiving meal this year. Very tasty, a little pricey but not... unreasonable, -getting that smoked meat. Worth it, and supporting local a business who gives back to the community. Only oneminor complaint, forgot the BBQ sauce that was requested to be added. Not a big deal , holiday rush, it happens. Picked up abottle at the store which worked out just fine! Will surel be returning soon. Read more
