I went here about a few months ago worst place ever. We waited like 30-40 minutes for 4 small things and a vanilla cone. The... dude scooping ice cream out the freezer was half way into the freeze. One of the best quality ice creams out there. Very rich and creamy.

We had a great experience here after ordering three frozen mocha latte drinks and a hot lava cake. We ordered from the drive... thru and our server was a very considerate lady. We asked if any of these desserts had marshmallow in the ingredients andrequested not to have any of those. She informed us that the whipped cream does contain marshmallow. We were so grateful to seethe staff make our order without whipped cream. They also remade our molten lava cake, after they had accidentally given us onewith the whipped cream. Although we missed the drive thru server's name, we hope to acknowledge her excellent and communicativeservice. She was at the drive thru at 7:30 on Saturday. We appreciate her and the rest of the Oberweis staff this evening forgiving us such accomodating and courteous service for our special request on our order. Thank you! Read more

I normally don't write reviews, but I felt compelled today to give praise to a young lady named Sam who took my order when I... pulled up to the drive-thru tonight. From the moment I heard the genuine, articulate, uplifting energy and sincerity in hervoice asking me what she could get me to the prompt personal service and smile she exuded while giving me my packaged customorder, she made my experience great! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Oberweis ice cream and have purchased my favorite dessertsfrom this Bloomingdale store for years, but someone like Sam deserves to be recognized for being an excellent customer-facinghuman being. This location was amazing. The cashier answered all of our questions and gave us honest opinions about the different... options/flavors. I was very grateful he did, because some things that sounded so good were honestly so terrible. We had a fewsamples and ordered. Our ice cream was amazing. I had the turtle candy sundae and the ice cream and everything else was really good except for the pecans which had a strange... flavoring to them. Normally, I like pecans in my sundaes, but I wouldn't get anything with pecans here again unless theystarted flavoring them the same way everyone else does...They appear to have many good options without pecans, so I willprobably return. Excellent! This location is easy to spot from Army Trail and I decided to stop in as a treat after an appointment. They have a... huge selection of ice cream and shakes/sundaes etc. Service was fast and friendly, and my sundae was brought to my table in onlya couple minutes. Everytime we visit from Canada we ensure we go to oberweis .. it has now become a ritual.. love their shakes and my kids love... the ice cream very much... According to them it's the best ice cream in the world they ever had. Read more
