I am a tremendous advocate for supporting and highlighting local businesses in the community, thus it saddens me I am unable to... do so for this place. The staff certainty get 5 starts but sadly the tacos were extremely disappointing. The tocofillings/meats were very bland, tortilla flavorless, and most of all heavily overpriced for the low quality. Though theingredients were "authentic", the subpar flavors took away any of grandma's home cooking touch. Who knew a deli could have the best Mexican food in the area? Everything is incredibly fresh, seasoned great, and never greasy.... Your food is always packaged very nicely with everything labeled - never have to worry about it spilling on the drivehome. 10/10 Read more

We ordered food Togo last night and are SOOOO happy we did! The Tacos are amazing, they're packed full of meat, cooked to order... shrimp, mahi mahi, tons of toppings and amazing flavor! The rice beans, guac and salsa are just as good. The Tacos are big,definitely not the typical 2 pieces of meat ones you get everywhere else. I ordered a bunch, not knowing and had half leftover? A Mexican restaurant inside a Deli in Bloomfield Hills. None of that makes sense nor does it matter once you take a bite of... their delicious, fresh and well seasoned food! Been there three times and we swear it?s gotten better each time. First of allthe ingredients are fresh and they use a lot of chopped lettuce, cilantro, onions, peppers and jalapeños. You can tell it?sfresh because all the veggies are firm and not brown. They really do a nice job complementing the proteins that are seasonedjust right. Many Mexican places over salt or pepper their meats, not here, it?s well balanced. Their sauces are yummytoo. We?ve had a few of their tacos, nachos, and quesadillas. The Korean BBQ is a nice surprise! It had a nice sweet finish andthat?s is spiced up by the fresh jalapeños. Their carnitas as not greasy at all and well cooked. The shrimp are huge, lightlybreaded and topped with a chipotle sauce that has a lot of kick! The nachos are huge, we got it with the chicken and it was notover cooked and seasoned well. The queso and other sauces were on the side which was a welcome change. Look at the picture withall that fresh cilantro, tomatoes, onions, green peppers and jalapeños! The refried beans were light and fluffy. The cilantrolime rice blows away any other rice we?ve had. Customer service is great, they are very friendly as well.
