This place is so good! The staff was super friendly and attentive, ans the food was delicious! The wings are a must try and... the Mac and Cheese was fantastic. Been going here for a couple years, and always had a full 5 star experience... until today... Dining with my folks, we each... experienced flaws in the meals we ordered. My step mother's meal had substandard macaroni salad, then what she had been servedin the past. I ordered Chicken French, that was swimming in a bowl of watery sauce (photo). But the "coup de grace" was myfather's Taco Salad... This (see photo) was THE MOST pathetic looking Taco salad I had ever seen... There was less lettuce onthe shell than I got with my side salad, an ice cream scoop worth of taco beef, and overall, made my Dad wish he had gone toTaco Bell of all places to order. My family stopped in on our yearly adventure. We picked this place specifically for outside dining due to our new dog. The staff... was cheerful and accommodating. The place was empty and they would have made special acceptance for my new chihuahua but, seeingas it was a beautiful day, we made use of their outdoor dining area. One of the picnic tables was past it's life and made for abumpy start but the rest of the experience was mostly wonderful. Pretzel sticks were ok 6/10 The fries were great. 7/10. Onionrings were huge and crispy 7/10 The burger was thick, juicy and delicious. A solid 7/10 The Reuben was SO close to perfection.The meat was thick cut and tender but a bit too fatty for me. 8/10 Grilled cheese was underdone 5/10 Having animals welcomed wasthe highpoint but the general experience was, overall, just incredible. My honey argued with me when we pulled in because there was only 3 cars in the parking lot. I said no I looked at the pictures... online and that?s what I want. We went inside and were greeted instantly by 3 very nice people. The mother & son run business isamazing! The service, friendliness and quality of food is well above many establishments. We are both so glad that we stoppedand gave this place a chance. That area needs more family establishments with the qualities this place has!!! Read more
