Came in on a Sunday night in the mood for crabs. Surprisingly the entire restaurant was empty. I went to use the bathroom first,... it was nice & clean. As was the entire restaurant. The service was good and quick. Food came out super fast! I ordered a combothat included snow crab legs and headless shrimp. I also added two boiled eggs. The combos Include corn and potatoes. I’ll behonest, when I was looking at the other reviews I felt that the seafood was looking very plain and unseasoned/unsauced. I like amore buttery , thick sauce. Though their sauce was on the thin side, it was still flavorful and tasty. The snow crab legs werealso very small :-( despite the small crab legs and the thin sauce, the food was fresh and good. I also enjoyed the R&B musicthey were playing. They do not have a bar, but you can bring your own bottle in. When I paid my bill, I received a coupon for 5dollars off for my next visit. A friend of ours went right after opening and said it was great, so we figured we'd try it. The food was good, service was good.... They don't have any seafood forks for digging the meat out of the crab legs so it was a little messy. Read more
The food and service was AMAZING! My husband and kids went there on a Saturday night. The portions were enormous! They had... accommodated our request to serve our food in a serving tray instead of a bag because of the amount of food we ordered. (Weordered the seafood boil), and to give us a big table so we can have more room. The seafood was fresh, and the sauce wasDELICIOUS! Spices were on point! We had 4 pounds of king crab and a pound of everything else! (we always order big) Our server,Andrew, was so attentive and kind! The seafood was fresh and the seasoning was delicious! I added eggs to my bag and they are amazing in the sauce. Don’t sleep... on the hush puppies either. Dining in was quite an experience with the gloves and steaming hot bags! The bags were so full weeven had food to take home after. Can’t wait to come back. Read more
Just ordered Combo B. from Grab Crab in Bloomfield and absolutely loved the food. The portions are huge, the staff is friendly,... and this is the best Cajun restaurant I have found anywhere around. I will definitely be coming back here often and will berecommending it to everyone I know. Read more
I have mixed reviews about this location overall I will say I was satisfied. Good customer service clean friendly. As for the... food my expectation fell short. But I will be honest that I don't typically do boils for health reasons. We had the calamariand hush puppies for apps and they were delightful but standard. The Hawaiian poke bowl was typical, the Tonkotsu ramen lackeda little flavor. The boil was fun, personally not a fan of all the work, but was probably the better deal. However the crabseemed over cooked. I will try this place again, But if you go, go for the boil. If you're like me and need to stay away fromshellfish their alternative options are limited.
