Our fries were over cooked and soggy. Onion rings soggy. Cole slaw was hot. Salad was hot and tomatoes over ripened. Food was... not as we ordered. We arrived 2 minutes after the time they told us, so our food should have not sat around and got likethat. We have fish there every Friday that we come up here from southern WI, like a tradition. We were camping at Brunet Island State Park and decided to drive to the little town of Bloomer for a bite to eat. Boy did we... choose well! Fat Boy?s did not disappoint! My husband had a small pizza and I had a half of broasted chicken dinner. Both wereamazing! The broasted potatoes were phenomenal and we had enough chicken and potatoes leftover to make another meal for the bothof us. The owner came out and personally made sure everything was to our satisfaction. He treated us like family. The staff werevery friendly and you could tell they enjoyed working there. The owner sent these amazing cinnamon sugar breadsticks out to uson the house! Prices are extremely fair. We will be back whenever we camp at Brunet Island. Read more

If you?re looking for the best pizza in the north woods, this is the spot. I used to live in Bloomer and the pizza is still... phenomenal. We ordered the spaghetti and I have been craving the bread sticks, so got some of those, too. They had my pick uporder ready in less than 10 minutes and the waitress was very sweet. The place is small and homey, perfect to sit down and enjoyyourself. It?s always good to see the owner, Jay.
