Reviews for Bloomer Brewing Co. in Bloomer, WI
We were in from out of town staying at Canoe Bay and were looking for a local spot nearby for lunch. Glad we stopped in at... Bloomer! Friendly service and good beers, and the oven behind the bar churns out some very tasty pizzas. Will be back next timewe are in WI! Read more
My wife Nora and I stopped in yesterday to check this place out and we were quite impressed not only with the several beers we... sampled but more importantly with the friendly service we received from Michelle. We are from Nebraska and are staying in theChippewa Falls area for several days as we do some motorcycling which, by the way, is also outstanding. Michelle spent timewith us and told us about the history of the brewery and how it is doing. We especially liked the 715 Summer Ale and the nutbrown but also like several others we sampled. This is a great stop for anyone who loves craft beer and who has an appreciationof artwork that breweries are putting on their product. Thanks so much Michelle for make this stop memorable and we will stopin again the next time we are in the area. N Read more
Awesome small town brewery! Especially love the key lime sour and s?mores beer, but everything I?ve tried is delicious! Highly... recommend visiting. Thursday nights trivia is a blast. Very cool! Read more
Very friendly bartender and reasonable prices. Nice indoor ambiance with a large patio outside. I liked that they offered... flights of beer (4 tasters) for only $8.50. The barrel aged Hog Breath was very good. I also appreciate they are experimentingwith some more unique combinations or beer and sweets (smore beer and key lime beer). Overall, I felt the beer could useimprovement (hence the 3 star rating), but this place has a lot of promise. Read more
This is not your typical brewery. It's modern and the beers are amazing. The sour lime one with whipped cream is hands down my... all time favorite! This place is worth checking out! Read more
The staff was attentive and offered samples of the extensive beer selection. There were multiple sizes of beer to order... including growlers. The beer was tasty and they had unique flavors and garnish. They also offered pretzels and kolaches from alocal bakery across the street that were YUMMY! Read more
My favorite stop out of the 5 breweries we hit! Had the key lime sour and an ale. They both were tasty. The bartender was great!... She was smiling and welcoming. They had a great outside seating with allot of places to sit. Wish I lived closer so I could tryall your beers! Read more
I kind of miss the old location honestly, it was a really cool old building. The new building now has the typical brewery vibe... going on which is fine. The beer still hasn't improved from the old location however. Tried the S'more and thankfully it camewith whip cream and graham crackers on the rim because that was the only good thing about it. The Coconut Porter was ok,nothing special, same with the Oktoberfest although it didn't taste like a traditional Oktoberfest, not sure if the fermentationtemp was off or what. The Barrel Aged Oktoberfest though was bad. It smelled very acidic and vinegary and the barrel agedflavor that was there wasn't good. I'm not sure if it got infected in the barrel or what but definitely was bad. Read more
